THE
STUDIO

Small room. Good signal chain.
Twenty-five years of knowing what matters.

The Lore

SMALL
BUT
MIGHTY.

It started in a basement in 1999.

Cheap gear, no soundproofing, zero budget. What we had was time and the will to figure it out. When the session ran long, you just stayed. Nobody was checking on you.

The studio in Palms is where that energy landed. One room, no wasted square footage. Everything in arm's reach. The monitors are tuned. The signal chain is real. You walk in and something is already working.

We didn't build a room. We built a tool.

The gear changes. The ears don't. The discipline the original basement gave us, getting sounds on the first take, making decisions instead of collecting options, that's still the standard here. Always has been.

The Transformation

A NEW
CHAPTER.

We ran a Control 24 for years. Big surface, big iron, big presence. It defined what we could do.

Then we made a decision. Electronic music doesn't need a 48-channel console. It needs flexibility. Speed. The ability to turn a session around in two hours and get out the door.

Before
Original studio setup with Control 24 console
Control 24 Era The original iron. Built for tracking, built to last.
Studio in transition
In Transition Rewiring the room for what comes next.
After

We brought in the Avid Artist Mix. Smaller footprint. Tighter workflow. Same Pro Tools backbone, dialed for how we actually work now. More nimble. More focused. Built for the electronic music era.

The past is still in the room. It's in the ears of everyone who's worked here. The Control 24 taught us discipline. The Artist Mix is what we do with it.
