Venice 2009
We make records. We release records. We throw the parties where the records get played.
Analog isn't a costume. It's a discipline. The hardware in the room shapes the sound that leaves it. A kick drum has weight even when it's a sample of a sample. Tape hiss, room tone, the hour after the snare finally fits, that's what we're after.
We don't chase the algorithm. We don't lead with stream counts. We don't pretend the festival main stage is the scene. The scene is a warehouse in a part of town the apps haven't mapped yet. The door doesn't have a name on it. We already told you not to tell.
Our producers get a key to the studio. Our releases get a body in a room. Our events get a sound system somebody in this house has touched with their hands.
Don't tell.
DJ submissions · Event locations · New music · Nothing else.
You're on it. Don't tell anyone.
We don't sell your email. Honestly, we barely send anything.
